As moms, we prepare for the challenges of pregnancy as best we can, we know what size fruit our baby is every week, what to eat, and what not to eat, but we seldom prepare for the period after birth. This was the case after my first child was born, I was isolated and confused with a scrambled brain and a flood of hormones that I did not know how to handle. I suffered from postpartum depression for 2 years without realizing it and finally realized how much I needed support from other moms going through the same challenges.
The second time around, I chose to do things differently and trusted the Lord to send me people who could help with questions and emotional support. Thís Mom and Baby group was heaven sent. Each class granted myself and my baby the opportunity to connect with moms and babies and learn from their experiences, too. I'm a second time mom with first-time knowledge thanks to this beautiful community of women.
Motherhood was never meant to be done alone. Thank you, Estherea, for supporting moms in every stage of motherhood.

A C-section can be incredibly daunting—being wheeled into a bright, sterile theatre, surrounded by medical staff preparing for what’s to come. I remember lying down after the spinal, feeling the sensation slowly leave my legs, staring up at the lights as dizziness set in from dropping blood pressure, and hearing the sounds of surgery begin. That was my first birth experience—clinical, overwhelming, and emotionally difficult.
With my second child, I chose a different path: a sensitive C-section through Estherea Women’s Wellness Clinic, with the compassionate guidance of Sandra Smith. It was truly a beautiful, healing experience. Sandra’s presence meant everything to me—she held my hand as the spinal was administered, prayed over me when I felt overwhelmed, and walked with me through every step with gentleness and care. I cannot fully express how deeply grateful I am for the love and support I received. It was not only a medical procedure—it was a deeply rewarding, emotionally nurturing experience that I will carry with me forever.
I also had the pleasure of seeing Sr. Barbara for my one-week follow-up appointment. That, too, was such a warm and reassuring experience. I only wish I had this kind of support with my first child.
I am profoundly thankful for the entire Estherea team. You don’t just provide care—you offer love, compassion, and a sense of divine presence. You were truly God-sent during the birth of my second child, and I will forever be grateful.

I’ve had the privilege of giving birth at Estherea twice. The team of women is just amazing. They really listen to your needs and try everything to meet it. They make giving birth such an amazing experience, that they will be the reason that I get pregnant again☺️. I’ve learned so much from them. There is moments I’ll never forget. One is when my amazing midwife Sandra, welcomed our daughter Olivia in to this world with a prayer to Jesus, moments before she was born that left me weeping everytime I think of it afterwards. They cheered me on and made me feel that I am truly capable to do this! My husband also had such an amazing experience there, whenever somebody mentioned about birthing options , he would tell them about Estherea! Love you guys!

For parents, whether of your first or sixth baby, the world of parenting changes constantly. Education classes provide information so you can make a decision that is best for your baby in this ever changing world. Our first interaction with Estherea was in 2021 when we went for a 3D scan with our first born. In December 2021 my husband booked a prenatal class for us and our baby was born in January 2022. We had Sandra Smith a midwife assist us with home baths after the birth. This experience did not only give me confidence as a mother but had put me at so much ease especially being a first time (nervous wreck) mom.
Our second baby is now born and we are happy to say that Estherea was a part of the journey again.
They have played such pivotal part in our lives, their knowledge, guidance and willingness to help at anytime.
I will always be gratefull for the ladies at Estherea for assisting me to become the best mom I can be
