Danelle has great enthusiasm and dedication. She graduated from the University of the Free State in 2014 as the student with the highest average marks in theory and practical over her four years of study (including midwifery theory). She completed her community service at Bainsvlei Clinic where she was in charge of the mother and child program. She is currently teaching nursing practical classes to the first year nursing students at the University of the Free State while studying for her Masters in Midwifery.
She discovered her passion for midwifery and neonatal care during her studies and especially when providing antenatal care and forming a relationship with a (growing) new family.
“Every time I am privy to witness the birth of a baby, I realize what a miracle it actually is. I feel very fortunate to be part of something so wonderful”.
